I love PSPad... absolutely brilliant. But there is a big niggle for me and I wondered if it could be addressed:
I edit a lot of remote files regularly via FTP, and in order of importance: 1. FTP files cannot be added to projects, the local file is added (in the temp directory) which is not very helpful. I used to use EditPlus which allowed this and it is probably the only feature I actually miss. 2. When opening FTP files, if it has already been downloaded to a temporary local file and I double click the remote file again I get a warning that the file already exists - while I understand why it is doing that, it isn't a helpful message. If I had edited the file already, then yes it would be, but otherwise it is just annoying. 3. Slow FTP connections make PSPad hang for periods of time, if the FTP handling could be threaded so that I could continue work on other files, etc, that would be great! Sorry if that sounds like complaints, it isn't! Thank you, Miles. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,46779,46779> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
