Hi Ross, If you are using a version of PSPad released after July 2007, the cursor behavior is enhanced by a script. I wrote the script that controls the CTRL-Left/Right cursor movement. It is always predictable - it isn't a random method for positioning the cursor, and it is modeled after long-established standards. There are two options:
1. You can disable it by removing this file: C:\Program Files\PSPad editor\script\JScript\ingkcpos.js Removing this script will restore default cursor behavior that is native to the editor component in PSPad. Talk about seemingly random! 2. You can alternately tweak the ingkcpos.js script to your liking.
