Hi,
I have been an avid user of PSPad for quite some time now; it has replaced
UltraEdit for good already.

One minor thing I'd like is to have a keyboard shortcut to create a new text
file. I know I can use Ctrl+N, but then I have to hit return once more to tell
the system I want a text file. I also know that there is a similar option, for
the New-button, which also works. Unfortunately I cannot find out any way to
have a kexboard shortcut do the same - I always have this annyoing popup
(because in 99% of the time I just need some place to put some data away, and
text file is quite okay for that).
Could you either add a similar option as with the new key for a keyboard
shortcut, or tell me how this can be done? I tried macros as well, but they do
not seem to be useful for this type of action as well.

regards and thanks for reading,
Thomas:-))
