I am also experiencing this bug. This is using v4.5.4(2356) I have two machines with Windows 7 Ultimate, one is a desktop and one is a laptop.
They are on a Homegroup. The laptop connects to the Desktop Homegroup. When I edit a file in PSPad on the laptop, if PSPad loses focus and then regains focus, I am told that the file contents have changed. This happens every time without fail, but seems to take around 10 seconds after the file has been saved before it alerts me. The time on both machines has been synchronized. I never had this problem until I moved to Windows 7. I would be very grateful if a fix to this could be found and I am happy to test further.
