alfredo: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi,
I noticed that you require reboots for an installation -- this, for a text editor. ... In those places where I do a clean install of an editor when I go to customer's sites, rebooting is _*NOT*_ an option. ... Please re-evaluate what you think you require here: DLLs, etc. Let me know what you think. Regards, Alfredo -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I believe, you don't have to use the installer; you can just copy all the PSPad files (from some working "installation", an usb stick etc.) and just use the editor. Probably the only registered dll, which may need to restart the computer only deals with context menu items and maybe system-wide file associations (which you probably don't want to add on a customer computer anyway). vbr -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,53495,53500> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
