Thank you Carbonize, I checked out your link and it does indeed look promising. Will give it a test ride over the weekend.
I don't mean to make a holy cow of code folding, which seems to touch a sensitive spot with users here. Although I wouldn't mind having it, nobody is forced to use it, after all. ...code folding would be irrelevant to you since it works on functions and code blocks. I disagree. Even the software you recommended allows code folding from selected text, and not just from tags. But again, it is not important to me. I use PsPad as a quick outliner, and for many other purposes: To clean up text, .csv, .eml etc. To remove or add indentations, quote signs, to re-arrange and replace text with RegEx searches. To fetch colors with the eye-dropper and change them with the Color Translator tool. I am not into webdesign, though. CSS is the underlying formatting sheet for other programs I use. The only "programming" I have beome interested in, is autohotkey, which is also supported by PsPad. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,57676,57767> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
