The reason people get fed up with requests for code folding is just the amount of thm there has been over the years. Unfortunately for us the editor component Jan uses for PSPad does not support code folding as well as being deficient in other areas such as heredoc support in PHP.
Unfortunately Jan has said it would take to much work to switch to a new editor component requiring a major rewrite of a lot of the code. I have tried many many other text editors wuch as Crimson, Notepad++, Editpad and RJTexted and keep coming back to PSPad despite the downfalls of the editor component. I always come back due to the vast amount of functions PSPad has as well as the ease of use for such things as special characters in HTML, switching settings from status bar and so on. Unfortunately PSPad no longer supports internal HTML previewing using Gecko as the component required to do this is does not work with Firefox 4 or newer and is no longer being updated. RJTextEd using special components to include both the Firefox and Chrome engines for the internal previewing and I did suggest these to Jan but until then I will be using RJtextEd for my web design work just because of the internal previewing but for everything else I always use PSPad. -- Carbonize <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,57676,57768> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
