No! This has NOTHING to do with the ATAPI IO and CD bits! NOTHING!
Besides, IO and CD don't have any meaning during a DMA data transfer
because a properly implement device will have BSY=1 status during a
DMA data transfer. My XY bit proposal is to solve a somewhat serious
problem that host software has when trying to determine how much of
the host I/O buffer was used during a DMA transfer. My proposal
applies to all DMA transfers, any time a PRD list is used, and it
doesn't matter if the device is ATA or ATAPI.
