By the way, the legacy I remember here says i x1F0 Data = xD0D0 when BSY:DRQ
!= x08 ... the intent of the design is to imitate Pio data read when BSY=1. 
Commonly that is two copies of the x3F6 AlternateStatus, which at that time is
commonly xD0.

I think I said the device shall respond to a read of the Data
register with this value anything the Data register is read and the
device status is BSY=0 DRQ=0.
