This message is from the T13 list server.

I've been looking at the World Wide Name (WWN) proposal and
have a few questions/comments.

Can you please answer them ?
1) first: there is a typographical error in the document:
the vendor unique serial number should be 36 (not 32) bits

2) Is there any requirement for <WHEN> the WWN must be available
after power-on ? Are there time requirements on availability ?

3) For a device with media, is media access required ?

4) If the WWN is saved on media, can the host wait for the media
to become ready and available ?

5) If the number is on media, can IDENTIFY initially report that the
feature is NOT supported, and then a later IDENTIFY report that
    the feature IS supported ?

Thanx !!!
