In short: Have actual Ata HDD vendors commonly chosen to support optional op x92?

At length ...

Ah thanks Curtis, `grep "firmware"` flunks, but `grep "microcode"` does find op x92.

In d1532v1ra.pdf we have:

        6.11 DOWNLOAD MICROCODE
−Optional for devices not implementing the PACKET Command feature set.
−Use prohibited for devices implementing the PACKET Command feature set.
i.e. ATA PIO only, ATAPI devices need not apply.

In d0791r4c.pdf we still have no hits, but in d0948r4c.pdf we have:

        7.12 DOWNLOAD MICROCODE.

So we conclude op x92 is the least vendor-specific choice of Ata op for firmware
update aka microcode download. Now we must ask:

Have actual Ata HDD vendors commonly chosen to support optional op x92, new since Ata
2, whose most final public archive is dated March 18, 1996?
