Yes, if I remember the majordomo options it is possible to disable these 'admin' commands. And it would be a good thing to do that for this list (for any list). However, it is too late for most of us. Our T13 email addresses are probably now on thousands of those "email list CDs". At this point you need a good spam filter or change your email address. The spammers know that getting an email address from a list like T13 is very likely to yield a valid/working email address.
