Mark,
why would a poor cable or noise cause signal loss? I'd see loss of sync,
but complete signal loss seems far-fetched. If the cable is disconnected I
can see this happening, but that could also mean that the user is hot-plugging
the device and you need to initialize what has been attached when the lights
come back on. Now do you really mean loss of sync, or loss of
signal...these are two different issues. MKE.
