What are we going to do when they find out that the entire connector
industry (including computers, electronic equipment, mechanical equipment
and plumbing) use the sexual terms of "male" and "female"?

The plumbing industry will really be in trouble because they also use the
term "nipple".

The terms Master and Slave in disk drives means exactly the opposite as it
does in human relationships. With humans the master forces the slave to
perform certain tasks for the masters benefit. With disk drives, the master
performs tasks (reports status on resets) for the slave. With male and
female connectors, the terms are applied exactly the same as in human
sexuality.

I just hope that no one tells the government officials.
