I think I read that Dr. Gordon Hughes is going to talk about "security
erase" issues at the next T13 meeting?
If you are interested in this subject, you may be aware that there are a
bunch of free/share/GNU-ware programs out there that claim to erase all
the data on a disk - most don't use the SECURITY ERASE command.
