CopyWipe www.terabyteunlimited.com/copywipe.html has Secure Erase available
and will optionally remove the HPA (both only under BIOS (direct) and on a
standard IDE controller - RAID controllers are currently ignored as well as
SCSI).  Except for secure erase, it doesn't wipe remapped sectors and my
suggestion of needing some basic standardized support for enable/disable
remapping as well as knowing which sectors are remapped comes in to play
here (just one of the reasons that standard is needed).
