I've recently downloaded a document for a Compact Flash card that shows operation in PIO mode 5 (20MB/sec) and mode 6 (25MB/sec). Is there a proposal to increase the PIO transfer rates for the IDE interface? Was there a proposal at one time? Am I a victim of marketing? :-) Thanks, John Sherman Astek Corporation
