Hi Jim,   In ATA-7 and ATA-8 there are definitions that are not consistent in the Read Log Extended Self-test log data structure. Table 24, byte 472-497 should be defined as “Descriptor entry 19.” Table 24, subsequent sectors word 4-29 should be defined as “Descriptor entry 19n+1.” Table 25, last row should be stated as “n+11-n+25 – Vendor specific.” This data structure for each entry should be 26 bytes instead of 24 bytes stated (see Table 24 for each entry location.)   I will also send you the word file for showing the table corrections.   Regards, Joseph Chen
