Abd ul-Rahman,
        the relevance of the "connection dot" is that if you do not have the
"auto junction" setting on, you don't see any connection dot at the
unintended connection. With Auto junction on, you would see the connection
dot if this were to occur. That's all, just trying come up with some
possible/plausible explanation for the otherwise mysterious problem.
