Hi Ian & Hugh:

I guess the only problem with Ian's suggestion is that Hugh has a Dell
Optiplex, which has on-board graphics and no AGP slot. I have one on my desk
(Optiplex GX1 - PIII-500 w/256MB, ATI Rage PRO graphics, NT4 sp5), but I
don't have any problems with Protel (99SE, sp6).

I'd firstly suggest to run a known working version of the ATI Rage PRO
graphics driver; you can download several different versions from the ATI
web site. Apparently the later versions won't do all the resolutions and
screen refresh rates of the earlier ones. I run version 5.0.113 of the ATI
driver (which isn't the latest); you can get this version from the ATI web
site.

I don't know if I've helped you at all; I hope so.

Cheers,
