Annotation boxes can in fact be selected, but it is not necessarily obvious
when they are in such a state.
What I do when I want to copy an annotation box is to (left mouse) click
within its boundaries while holding a 'Shift' key down. I then use the
'Ctrl-Insert' key combination to copy this to the clipboard, and then test
to determine if it has in fact been copied to the clipboard. A rectangular
outline corresponding to the area of the annotation box should be depicted
after first invoking the Paste command, which I then cancel unless I want to
copy this to the same schematic file. (Don't forget to deselect everything
at some stage, because the selected state of the annotation box may not be
obvious.)
I fully concur that it would be highly desirable for the selected state of
an annotation box to always be obvious.
Regards,
Geoff Harland.
