Hi Brad,

I tried the following:

Create a footprint consist of on pad, ( hole 3.2mm, Pad 7mm, multilayer, not
plated).
place 8 vias on a radius of 2.55 mm .

Create a shematic with two of this parts as a single pin-part connected.
Got a netlist with part X1-1 to part X2-1.

After 'update PCB you get a pcb with the to footprints, a connection between
and a drc - error.
after executing update free primitives from pads the drc - error is gone and
the vias all connected
to net1 ( the only one ).

By the way, I got a warning, that not plated pads are in a routing net. In
the real world I would be
glad for this warning.

Georg
