-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hello, I am new to this list, so please be gentle if this message is off-topic!
I am (together with other contributors) the author of Total Open Station [0], a software to download topographical survey data from total stations and convert it into decentâ„¢ formats. A colleague is asking me if we are able to support conversion of data obtained with a Leica TPS, that is in binary format (most other formats are non-standard but ASCII-based thus intelligible). If I understand correctly the data files contain both position data of surveyed points and fixes from a base station, so that's actually a GPS device. You can take a look at sample data in our issue tracker [1]. While this is slightly more than what we are doing for other formats so far, I think it would be useful to have an open source implementation of this format, that is otherwise only readable with Leica GeoOffice. Do you have any hints or first hand experience with that format? Thanks, ciao steko [0] http://tops.iosa.it/ [1] https://bitbucket.org/steko/totalopenstation/issue/38/add-support-for-binary-leica-xcf-dbx -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJQun7YAAoJEDBz7sDeHMxYinkP/29O0dIlGHQLYWUiCx7ekfja /41/nfJxTGqc2Q3AJMa4J4HaHQNYIxaoAuEf1nOlStRDtkDj+ij5uVH5L6Nre8Ls TRU7sYJsqq5d3e7iZoPH7GTj9DZeDy/Dz37aTYKG6A9mZyC0rgYOCh/aAIV9TD6d kctb9McJYq1T1JclTFH33HV/xsTFZsFWd4q/vTHDMbNr2LVAiWTF3j2u0jALUOlh GI8qoQebBHNqALuAAbEbUM2NXyz3R6zfaMtXROy8duio6YJNUSxg/WSPYrVgIdmQ 9DBVLeA2PcsI9rmRIKw6yvMT/zQZ4j12qVwS9GgwaD5RReLrvvasQkDaug2BX4w+ eGLN26p58WXSlu1GtxehYj1uEtHJKPdhnvxpfQY13Ua07aFxBQ3WFCGWjYMql2O0 oYyl5A/RY5AGp0Vgouc2TlJiaLXQCmPADl8hgzUzPKLIjy/0j/BnXaq2lSt7J8gj /vBPL8d0C5gsthw3FCscz6ywOzxHjNvo8pAijBH4kgzFhhX7LDQRC565sUkWSPPT XawSS8STT2vOpaIAWlNbX6uBlFg77YyOvM2qqCI11gpcxPhpNG6fP08hl/AkNPlS OzgGYKK6Wbo3iXCFndHtFAMz9I2okfrGqEfA/VokaPluZ/z2Wxb0vZ8r3k9GmuUR E2GyCXlbltvgB23X9GjM =No+e -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ This message is sent to you from [email protected] mailing list.
