MySQL or PostgreSQL would be the better choice although there are many free dbms available. Firstly, we have to analyze their data whether they can be migrated to the open source database system or not. There's no doubt that most of the things can be done using MySQL or PostgreSQL but features which Oracle supports might not be supported by other free dbms. But MySQL is getting bigger and robust day by day and may support most of the Oracle features.
