I think paper presentation should not be removed from the SFD event. At least 4-5 papers should be there, so that some academic learning opportunity will be there for students and new members of the community.
Regarding the formation of the core team. I think we can go by nomination. I would like to volunteer for paper presentation, proposals, advertisements and orientation tasks to new colleges. I think its high time that we start forming the team right away. So should we start a wiki page where the final task force will be listed. and leaders for each task is nominated so that each team can start working and preparing for the event.
