I think only Windows (mind the work S ) point to the proprietary software windows we are talking about. but the word window is not for Bill gates. Its the dictionary word , noun [C] a separate area on a computer screen which shows information and which you can move around
So we need not search for the alternate word for it. don't confuse the word window. It doesn't indicate the operating system windows.
