i think it should be more like a long term effort than a small bouts of
excited hacking for a weekend... that doesn't work at this scale,... it's
more about practice and having a community around is the best way to attain
it... IMO... so I think the first thing is to have (perhaps) someone with
experience... to help... often (in other places) there's someone in
college... professor... who can help... But most of the times they aren't
all too interested in helping...(at least in Nepal) because they don't do
much researches there... So, the only idea i believe is to share
annotations, documentations... I'd like to reiterate the importance of cross
referencing... like lxr
go to lxr.linux.no ( FYI there's another one at lxr.mozilla.org for mozilla
geeks) that'll help in tons for understanding the kernel and how bits
flow... :) only way to understand is by sharing.... and learning is done by
urself no matter how much u r taught...... i mean the workshop isn't going
to help anyone unless people aren't genuinely interested in doing it...
