Hi Ricky, I noticed your post on the FOSS distribution list, I thought I was the only UK FOSS Nepal member hanging around. Clearly not. Although I'm no active member, it would be good to contribute somehow. Being a working man, probably like you I haven't really sat down and worked it all out yet. What I'm really after is an excuse to go to Nepal and do something productive. Seeing relatives is fine to a point, but then going to often, for me at least, would just be time passing.
Perhaps we could start something small, a UK FOSS Nepal force to promote and help the folks in Nepal - again no idea what the purpose would be just yet, but it's a thought. A bit about myself, I am actually British of Nepali ethnic origin, went to QMUL graduated with an MEng Computer Engineering in 2006. I'm not really a full time practioner of OSS, but fully aware of it's existence, and have used it occasionally for certain projects...and I'm getting to like Ubuntu! My MSN is [EMAIL PROTECTED], feel free to add me on. See you around.
