Recently Sun has announced one million US dollar for open source innovation award. This is exclusively for open source enthusiasts. And also this year Sun is sponsoring SFD in big way(softwarefreedomday.org) In India, as part of university programs they did launch code for freedom last year(http://in.sun.com/univ) Actively involved in FOSS.in, one of the biggest open source event in Asia South. BOSUG - Bangalore Open Solaris User group is one of the top active group in the world. This is an opportunity for you folks to get involved in this growing community. Lots of features and projects available in opensolaris, netbeans and other open source projects. If you guys are interested to promote as part of your event, please do let me know.
