Hi all, Apologies for hastily calling for the meeting the other day. We had to decide the meeting point at the very last minute and the ones who made it to the meeting personally called up to ask about the venue. Sorry for the inconvenience caused! Just to update you all, mainly the following points were discussed in the meeting:
1. FOSS Nepal @ CAN InfoTech 2009 Update from Dadhiram - Letter dispatched to CAN, FOSS Nepal's place yet to be confirmed! 2. Upcoming Media Workshop Update from Dadhiram - HLCIT still interested to partner in the workshop. 3. Upcoming FOSS Training with CICC Update from Prabin and Subir - Dates to be confirmed, but most probably in the first week of February. 4. HLCIT FOSS Support Cell Update from Subir - Need to follow up w/ HLCIT to get it started ASAP and discuss some other issues as well. 5. D2's OSCN Update from Subir followed by a brainstorming session - This session ended on a positive note although some of the community members raised licensing concerns of the competition, to be discussed w/ D2 soon and finalized. And owing to time constraint, it was agreed to discuss the following points in detail in the upcoming meeting (most probably this weekend): 1. FOSS Training Center and the way ahead 2. FOSS Training with CICC 3. FOSS InfoMela 2009 @ Members present in the meeting: Please add/modify if I have missed/misinterpreted any.
