Sorry for the delay in replying to your mail. Actually , I was in
communication with Rama Dai (Educational Coordinator, HeNN) and Arun Dai
(President, HeNN) to know if the project could be financially supported.
Technically speaking, I feel LTSP would not be very suitable for the
project since the project demands huge bandwidth for audio/video
transmission. From previous experience, I find that network doesn't behave
well in LTSP when video or audio is transmitted as network gets saturated
soon. However, I have tested it well for 7-8 computers. So, I am not sure
what may be scenerio in case of just 2-3 computers.
And, as far as Help Nepal's financial help is concerned, they are
planning to fund only LTSP based e-libraries (preferably at community
schools) at the moment. So, I see lesser possibility of financial help for
this project from Help Nepal Network.
Well, personally, I am ready to assist in every possible way I can for
the noble cause.
