Dear all, As we all know our constitution is under development ;)
I think we have to come up with some ideas, points, and whatever which makes (Technology, innovation, creativity, FOSS, open content, open standard, right to information, right to electronic information) gets reflected in new constitution of Nepal. I came to know that there are various interaction programs going on among CA members and experts on various topic like education, health, water, daily living, etc, etc... I think we can as well participate/organize similar program to talk about IT, technology, innovation, right to information, open content etc. These are topics of general concern and importance. I have been talking with various people for organizing this type of program. If constitution addresses these topics, it will paves way for govt. and us to do lot many things on FOSS and ICT. But what we need are answers to: 1. Has any constitution in the world addresses these things? we need examples if any of these kinds. 2. What are the things that can be possible to have in constitution which makes FOSS implementation and policy building easy and durable. 3. Brainstorm and do massive discussion on this thread to come up with best suggestions and points we can discuss and influence the stackholders 4. possible stackholders for the proposed program Please please post ur mind here... If any these things are not necessary then also please mention. Hope to get fruitful points from here so we can later be proud to say we have done one more thing for FOSS.
