Dear all, Sorry for late posting.
On sunday 24th May 2009, Khwopa Engineering college's ACES(??-CE students) conducted "One Day seminar on FOSS and Linux" in their auditorium. The Speakers of the program were: Mr. Basanta Krishna Shrestha, Abhishek Singh, DayaRam Budhathoki and Prabin Gautam. Topics: 1. FOSS and FOSS Nepal: Abhishek Singh (in place of Subir pradhanang) 2. Migration and Nirvikalpa / Linux Desktop demo: Prabin Gautam 3. Debian lenny installation: Daya Ram Budhathoki 4. Nepalinux: Basanta Krishna Shrestha 5. Code breaker movie show Around 100 participants. Students were from computer engineering and other engineering faculties. The program was a great success and they are interested to have more detailed and participatory trainings in coming days to come.
