"Microsoft signs MOU with nepal Government" We donot know the content in this MOU. But it is penetration into education, rural ICT infrastructure and forcing government to follow IPR(m$ way) In a brief talk with Mr. Manohar Bhattarai, VC of HLCIT, We came to know that M$ had asked HLCIT and MOEST to follow IPR and have proposed to get genuine windows under discount rate. Though he told us this is not compulsion, but its possible. I leave up to the community to discuss on this. Is it threat, challenge or opportunity? I realize lack of physical presence on our side which is making us dull and very very weak to carry out any plans with HLCIT.
