Hello All, As far as I am updated about the MOU between M$ and HLCIT. It seems to be a threat for freedom loving society like Nepal. In turn, it can be an Opportunity for digital freedom fighter like FOSSians. But as Prabin has very rightly pointed out it might get to be an challenge, which might force us on our back foot, if we all are not prepared and coordinated better way in coming days.
There is a very big responsibility on FOSSians to lead the way for digital freedom in Nepal. We should gear up and put our best foot forward. Though we might be misguided by taking this as a opportunity, but looking at the MOU contents and clear intentions of M$, they will not sit untill every stone in unturned. So guys, gear up with all your geek gears, platforms, webs, blogs, FM and wherever we have any reach. Hope this becomes a crystallising opportunity for FOSSians in Nepal and in the region.
