Dear All,
This is a challenging situation. But there are ways to confront
and win over this threat. Prabin was right at pointing out to popularize
this issue through blogs and such services. I don't know how legalities come
into play, but from a common sense point for view, government can't simply
choose one organization to furnish the services without a public bid, and
inviting other player. A few days ago, the case with Switzerland government
was on hype. The swiss government has made a contract with Microsoft to
serve them, and the contract was worth a lot Euros. Red Hat, Inc. and others
made an alliance and are fighting on the ground that "No contracts can be
made before making a public bidding and inviting others. This discourages
competition".

Let's research the legalities, and be ready to fight back. We're having the
same situation. Let's turn this threat into opportunity. Let's join hands
and move on the fight.
