Well mr.kysor there are some things you can try, 1. use pppoeconf in linux and follow all the steps that the software provides
[NOTE] later on you can also edit the configuration file here :/etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider (The default or you may have one for your own dsl-provider name, mine is wlink) 2. You can check what happened by looking at the result of plog (The pppoe log system) 3. After that you can actually find out the real problem whether it was the request never sent or something else! - Tushar On 08/07/2009, Kysor <[email protected]> wrote: > > i have subscribed to wlink.. my connection works quite well.. but > sometimes the connection request doesn't get sent.. and i cannot > access the net... n i guess the wlink connection is not permanently > configured in my computer..... i guess... wat's the problem?? could > anyone please help me??? > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ FOSS Nepal mailing list: [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/foss-nepal To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] Community website: http://www.fossnepal.org/ -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
