I have major objections with Ekta's argument. First of all, she
assumes FOSS Nepal to be an "organization" working in the style of
some NGO or INGO and not a community of free software supporters. If
it is so, then I think the dissatisfied members of this organization
should stop argumentation as she has said, and instead opt for legal
or formal methods. I suggest them to call for a General Assembly to
challenge the 'organizing committee's' decision and annul it there. I
think a provision for this exists in the constitution of FOSS Nepal
(Pvt Ltd ?). Call a General Assembly Meeting and start a voting.

I didn't consider FOSS Nepal to be an INGO style body when I first
involved with it. So, if I am not satisfied, I will choose to discuss
it through mailing lists and other open communication channels that
exist. And as far as 'not-coming-forward' when called is concerned,
not all volunteers can always manage time for all activities. This
should not be taken as a measurement one's right to express
dissatisfaction. Moreover, I have read the Concept Note and never
found anything that even suggested allowing to rename the event's name
in favor of the Prime Sponsor. Software Freedom Day is an
international celebration of free software and it should remain that
way.

I'd rather discuss it in a separate thread.
