Dear all, Please lets not draw conclusion here.. I agree with bibek on the terms the anyone can comment on the decisions that have been taken.. and we are an open community not any pvt ltd..sth like that.. but the decision that have recently been taken is the result of "right to information", we released a generic proposal(Please check the mailing list, with attached pdf it is send my abhishek)(@bibek not concept paper, we should submit proposals to organizers), we waited for "2 and half days" for peoples to comment, and let us know the changes that have to be made in the proposals. No body did.. so we thought it was alright and we reached to our sponsors, we asked them to help us, and bingo they did !! not only d2, but hlcit, nitc, nta, and many more join our hands...
I agree SFD is a global event.. but also they give us the freedom to organize it in our own way.. with our own spirit... I thank everyone for their thoughts and love they have shown towards the community and it really really express everybody's commitment and dedication...and we should show similar dedication by being there at the event and making the celebration as open and as free(as bibek said) as possible.. *hereby I WOULD LIKE TO END THIS THREAD. * I hope you all will cooperate :) Regards Akash Deep Shakya "OpenAK" FOSS Nepal Community http://www.akashdeepshakya.com.np akashakya at gmail dot com P.O.Box: 8975 EPC: 4235 ~ Failure to prepare is preparing to fail ~ On Sat, Sep 12, 2009 at 4:44 PM, Abhudaya Sagar <[email protected]>wrote: > Me to.
