dude check,
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/SystemRequirements
http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/sys_reqs_30.html

It is an OS with open office + ubuntu so i guess they were "more
general" when they stated this.

---
The way i see it, now its a CLEAR WIN for FOSS NEPAL if they think in
terms "cost" and "benefit" in every effort they make and make sure
their "every hour effort counts" to counter microsoft (the primary
competition) and capture the market....

But, i have to be honest.......... (least in history) i lost faith in
you all, the community! Sorry............

FACT.................... here, because for every microsoft action
there is "equal inaction"???

Also, I am surprised to see, why spent 1 day in FKK... if your
ultimate goal is to "make a difference", if i was in your place i
would work on :

- freedom of information act
- ylmf OS (i expect more to come from this project )
- Campaign to get laptop without pre-installed windows and least 50$
discount (maybe a case to the court, i can volunteer to help on this
technically)
- nirvikalpa live DVD with data rescue tools (see wikipedia data rescue)
- promote a few FREE antivirus

(Well this is our base, i think....... and their Game over......... )

REMEMBER:
# Never directly attack an opponent whose advantage is derived from
its position. Instead lure him away from his position and/or thus
separating him from his source of strength.......

# So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you
can win a hundred battles without a single loss. If you only know
yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose. If you know
neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.
