1. Disclaimer: ______________ Is it just that I am bumped with NEW guys in town? Lately, I have seen mushrooming information security-start-ups with very little substance targeting training for "policy makers" to a lawyers claiming to be a lead expert in "cyber security" with ZERO technical "understanding" for the same. The point is, if you do not have a good picture about "policy matters" please do not touch it with a TEN FOOT LONG POLE. BE WARNED : I am irritated. STOP STEPPING IN OUR FOOT. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. I wont repeat, there will be consequences. If you do not stop your expert opinion, you will find hard time collecting __bread and butter__ 2. Cyber Security Agendas ___________________________ ( Source : http://www.nbise.org/ ) The National Board of Information Security Examiners is a newly-formed not-for-profit corporation built to develop rigorous examinations and certifications for the U.S. information security workforce. NBISE will work with partners in government and the critical infrastructure sectors to ensure those working on the U.S.'s most important networks can demonstrate their ability to apply knowledge, skills, and analytical methods to daily and emergency situations. 3. Test of Incompetency: _________________________ http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/06/22/worlds_no_1_hacker/ A recently published e-book penned by the self-proclaimed “world's No. 1 hacker” is rocking the security community with back-and-forth allegations of plagiarism, racism, and even threats against a security podcaster and his family.
