hello kabindra ji u can install ubuntu from CD in similar manner as u install other operating system i think there is no difference , in case of media player , u can get whatever u want from ubuntu software centre after installation of ubuntu system. first try to successful installation of ubuntu, after that u can get variety of packages from repository ..
