i was using Ubuntu 10.04. later on in separate partition, i installed
windows 7. now i am not getting boot options when windows boots.
i tried... using live CD of Ubuntu 8.04
- sudo grub
- find /boot/grub/stage1
but this returns file not found
i too tried stage2 or stage0 but the result was same
on previous occasions while i was using previous versions of ubuntu
i.e. 8.04 or ultimate edition it had worked and
i used to get (hd0,6)
- so i too tried
- setup ( hd0,6)
it too results error
- root(hd0)
returns not found like of message..
when i tried to mount the drive containing ununtu 10.04 it returns"
couldn't mount because your system doesn't support Ext4 system)
- plz give me useful suggestions except reinstalling ubuntu
