Some of us have suggested Prabin Rai and the team to put up two machines with one of them showcasing Linux with different applications including a catchy demo of Compiz for the visitors. The other machine could showcase our Nirvikalpa project with someone at the stall explaining its significance. One of the real-world implementations that we suggested was the deployment of Fedora Linux on 65 machines of Learning Lab in Kathmandu University (KU) and the deployment of Ubuntu Linux in the 12 machines of KU Library. They could also add FOSS Lab in Brihaspati. They could, of course, also showcase the deployments of LTSP and OLPC in the different districts of Nepal. I have also heard of Citizens Bank (not sure if it's the one) deploying OpenOffice.org in their entire machines. Does anyone know anything about it or verify it? Still any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated as their exhibition happens to be on February 19 and they still have some time to think over and plan. Finally, thanks to all those who suggested off the list. Cheers, Subir -- Subir B.
