yeah it's true that FOSS is having less number of activities and less participations int he program. In previous CAN infotech I used to see the FOSS install (one with Nepalinux) which I couldn't see this year. This also shows that FOSS is lacking participations and those involved with the FOSS are diverted to other fields don't know why. This is the reasons why FOSS needs to have new members and needs to be initiated from the new beginning point. And to do this new faces are required.
Hope this makes some sense to reorganize the FOSS members. I am always interested in the involvement to FOSS but when I visited the FOSS office (PATAN, YalamalaKendra) I was confused and didn't know what to do. I could see noone. That was just long ago. All I can say is there are new interested people in FOSS who needs to get chance for involvement either as volunteers or dedicated staffs.
