Hi everyone,
http://data.gov is an interesting project that encourages people to
download datasets and databases about all sorts of data related mostly to
the US and some of global concern; eg: latest earthquake data which is
encouraged to be used by people for everything from research to building
web/mobile apps. Maybe on a smaller scale we can put up a page somewhere
linking to such raw data and research resources but in the context of Nepal?
Maybe even data.gov might have datasets relevant to Nepal. Also I am sure
there must be tons of research academic papers analyzing various economic,
social etc areas about Nepal.

Does anyone think there could be benefit in a central location for links or
even direct downloads for data/research about Nepal? Any thoughts on how we
can go about collaborating on this? Wiki / Github repository etc?
