Dear All,
It's a pleasure to inform you that Fedora 16 (codenamed
Verne) is proposed to be released on November 8, 2011. This version
contains many improvements, notably Gnome 3.2, GRUB 2, OpenStack, and
others (see http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/16/FeatureList for
details).
I was planning to organize a release party so that we FOSS enthusiasts
can come together, have a little chit-chat, and enjoy. Let's plan for
the event, we need to decide on these things:
* Date & Time (let's keep it at least one week after the actual
release, so that we can download the ISOs and distribute DVDs)
* Venue (Where more people can gather)
* Event plans (competition, snacks, coffee??)
