We could probably have an orientation cum interaction program with CAN at the central level and convince them how FOSS could possibly benefit our country in the long-run. If I'm not mistaken, they already have the likes of Gaurav jee, Kishor jee who themselves have been supporters of FOSS and/or Linux for a long time so probably they could be of great help in convincing others in CAN. As for HLCIT, we have been doing some programs with them, and we could talk to them and convey our concern to them. @Ananda ji: As Hempal said, could you be more specific about the program you're talking about?
