NOSK(Nepal Open Source Klub) has been with support of FOSS-NEPAL and other FOSS communities has been organizing SFD for past couple of years now. If FOSS NEPAL would try some initiatives on celebrating SFD, that would be appreciable.
In the mean time, NOSK has registered for SFD 2012. http://softwarefreedomday.org/map/index.php?year=2012 We are working on events for the day. We'll be glad to share as soon as possible.
