Congratulations .

This is a great news.

>From today Google translation is available we would not have to worry about
any third party translations for Nepali language. I can retire my Nepali
translation project <http://code.google.com/p/nepaliwikipediatranslator>. 3
years ago I started this Nepali translation project because we did not have
a relevant machine translator for Nepali. I felt that the only translation
project at that time nlp.ku.edu.np was still in research phase. So my
project code.google.com/p/nepaliwikipediatranslator gained some attention.
The aim of the project was to have a power of translation in Nepali.
Initially I developed it for myself and it was popular among the users of
Nepali Wikipedia group. I translated few articles
there<http://ne.wikipedia.org/wiki/प्रयोगकर्ता:RajeshPandey/Nepali_Wikipedia_Translator>using
it, created a
desktop <https://code.google.com/p/nepaliwikipediatranslator/downloads/list>,
web application <http://reversespeller.com/translator> and an android
app<http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Nepali.Translator>
called
नेपाली अनुवादक

We have Google translate now and its a good news for everyone.

Today, I can retire my project because I no longer need to worry about
translation, pay bucks at godaddy for the web service's bandwidth, and
spend nights to create translations, check logs and user's suggestions.

I started the project because Google didn't do it then. I always wished
Google would do this, and finally it happened.

I used the translate from Nepali to English in Chrome, and I was so glad to
have the feature. To have Nepali language in the list of other
translateable languages is awesome.
